    Step 02: Legacy analysis

    We analyse the legacy system: data structures, customisations, integrations and what is still in daily use.

    Step 03: Data mapping

    Each legacy entity is mapped to its RATON counterpart, with rules for cleaning, merging and history depth.

    Step 04: Process mapping

    Business processes are documented and reviewed — kept, simplified or redesigned before they are rebuilt.

    Step 05: Migration design

    The migration plan, cut-over approach, environments and acceptance criteria are agreed in writing.

    Step 06: Development

    Configuration, required customisations, integrations and migration scripts are built and reviewed.

    Step 07: Data migration

    Data is migrated into a test environment first, repeatedly, until the result is stable and reproducible.

    Step 08: Validation

    Balances, quantities, documents and totals are reconciled against the legacy system and signed off.

    Step 09: User acceptance testing

    Your team runs real scenarios in RATON and confirms that daily work is possible end to end.

    Step 10: Go-live

    Cut-over follows the agreed plan, with a final data load, a rollback option and support on site or online.

    Step 11: Support

    After go-live we stabilise, tune the processes that need it and continue with improvements and automation.

Validation and go-live

Validation

Migrated data is reconciled against the legacy system: balances, stock quantities, document counts and totals.

Testing

Key users test real scenarios in a dedicated environment, with issues tracked until they are closed.

Parallel operation

Where the project requires it, both systems run in parallel for an agreed period so results can be compared.

Go-live

Cut-over is executed against a written plan that includes the final data load and a rollback option.

Support

Hypercare after go-live, then ongoing support, process tuning, further automation and new modules.
