Validation and go-live
Validation
Migrated data is reconciled against the legacy system: balances, stock quantities, document counts and totals.
Testing
Key users test real scenarios in a dedicated environment, with issues tracked until they are closed.
Parallel operation
Where the project requires it, both systems run in parallel for an agreed period so results can be compared.
Go-live
Cut-over is executed against a written plan that includes the final data load and a rollback option.
Support
Hypercare after go-live, then ongoing support, process tuning, further automation and new modules.
